You are not broken. You are not crazy. You are not alone. There is still hope.

About Tanja
In kintsugi, broken pottery is mended with gold. The repair becomes the most beautiful part of the piece, not the part it hides. Tanja Jarvis carries that picture of restoration into her work with women rebuilding after abuse.
She is the author of Fractured, a guided journal written for women in the long, unglamorous middle of recovery: after the relationship ends, when the hardest work actually begins.
As a survivor of domestic abuse, Tanja uses her own experience to help women recognize abusive behaviors and offers hope for healing in the aftermath. Her approach pairs honest reflection with somatic grounding, so that women have a way back into their bodies when the remembering gets loud, and a way back to hope when it feels far off. She is currently pursuing certification in domestic abuse advocacy and is a member of the MomCo Approved Speaker Network.
Talks & workshops
Kintsugi: The Art of Being Rebuilt
Using the Japanese art of gold-seamed repair as a frame: a more honest picture of restoration, where the fracture stays visible and stops being shameful.
Naming It: Recognizing Hidden Abuse
Why survivors so often doubt their own account of what happened. A plain-language look at the patterns of emotional and psychological abuse, and at what changes once a woman finally has words for them.
When the Body Remembers First
A participatory session on somatic grounding: what to do the moment reflection becomes too much. Three techniques you can use that night.
Workshop: a guided journaling session built from Fractured: two prompts and one grounding exercise, completed together. Fits a small group, MomCo meeting, or retreat breakout of 4–15 women.
In development: a prevention talk for young women on recognizing the early patterns of controlling relationships, before they take hold.
